“We're having a little problem here”
It’s a nuisance to wait for your laptop to connect to your WLAN access point at home. It eats your time at work, if your data does not fly. In hospitals and airports, poorly performing WLAN may be quite a bit more than just slowing down things.
What comes to media visibility of these experiences, Iphone 4 demo by Steve Jobs at WWDC keynote on Monday June 7th, took the lead for some time. After failing to demo web browsing with the new phone, Jobs summarized it: "Our networks in here are always unpredictable. They are slow today."
