7signal Sapphire Release 2.2 published
- 7signal released Sapphire version 2.2 to production. Deliveries start immediately.
Release 2.2 brings on enhancements and new functionalities for helping network managers to cope with their networks. - Several improvements to help usability, including personalized views and automatically stored previous views and settings.
- More fluency in analysis with the new Related KPI’s functionality. Analysis flow helps locating bottlenecks causing noncompliance against SLA targets
- Tailored SSID specific measurements by any monitoring station. Visitor networks in some locations may not need the same level of SLA guarding as internal mission critical networks.
- Monitored access points have now very detailed information: changes in bit rate and radio channels are displayed as events to help to observe their impact
- Speed in Loupe and Carat user interfaces have been optimized for better performance also with larger amount of client data
- SIP application test have been added for securing reliable VoIP over WLAN service including the VoIP session setup process
