Increasing pace of satisfied new customers

During this spring and summer 7signal Sapphire has proven its benefits in various use cases: In co-operation with strategic partners, 7signal Sapphire has been introduced into business-critical WLAN environments as an untiring quality sentry.

7signal has been opening new markets, the furthest at the moment with QiComm in England. QiComm Ltd. has recognized that wireless networks and specifically WiFi solutions are being deployed as part of a multi-service platform or infrastructure in business critical networks. Therefore the need to just provide coverage and speed is no longer the only criteria a WiFi network must be measured against. WiFi deployments are now crying out for Service Level Management and Agreements to be made available which will allow customers, installers & network designers alike to obtain quantitative and qualitative measurements against Key Performance Indicator’s (KPI) on a permanent or semi-permanent basis. The Sapphire WQA solution offered by 7signal can form the basis of Service Level Management or Service Level Agreements, with the advantage of being totally vendor agnostic thus giving the customer a higher level of confidence that the results obtained are credible.

In Finland, at the new Helsinki Vuosaari seaport, Signal Networks provides wireless network quality monitoring services with Sapphire. The ability to quickly find and analyze interferences brings a distinct value to a constantly changing and demanding radio environment. Without Sapphire it would be impossible to manage the network precisely and cost-effectively.
Further, Fujitsu Services has upped the ante with its Peitto service, bringing a new service level guarantee for its WLANs. “With 7signal technology we are able to guarantee our service level agreements for WLANs. The real-time information on the network condition enables us to monitor application usability, with complete visibility of the network. We now can detect problems so early, that they can be corrected even before they affect application performance,” says Mikko Elo, Fujitsu’s service development director.

Vintor Ltd, launched this spring 7signal Guard, a WLAN quality monitoring service delivered with 7signal Sapphire. The service offered by Vintor is a perfect solution if you wish quality information and monitoring as well as alerts on your network, without having to invest in your own infrastructure!
