markets and applications.
7signal Sapphire offers innovative solutions to existing challenges in wireless broadband quality assurance.
We enable our customers to know what their wireless networks are doing by measuring and monitoring continuously and automatically the
wireless network and the applications running on it.
7signal is an independent software vendor (ISV) and device manufacturer, with headquarters in Helsinki, Finland. 7signal was
established in 2006, and is a privately held company.

Veli-Pekka Ketonen
CEO
Founder, Partner
Mr. Veli-Pekka Ketonen is the founder and CEO of 7signal Ltd. With over 12 years at Nokia Networks,
Veli-Pekka has a broad background in radio networks. He has led several R&D projects within Nokia,
including GPRS/EDGE radio network (BSS) system performance commitments towards customers and development
of Nokia UltraSite GSM/EDGE Base Station in Dallas/USA. Mr. Ketonen holds several international patents.
Mr. Ketonen holds a M.Sc. in Technology from the Helsinki University of Technology, and completing a
series of executive trainings at California Institute of Technology and MIT.

Miika Salo
VP, Marketing and Sales
Co-founder, Partner
Miika is the Co-founder of 7signal Ltd. and leads the company´s corporate marketing and sales. With
nine years at TeliaSonera Finland Oy he has vast experience in the Telecommunication industry. Most recently
he worked as Senior Marketing Manager at Enterprise Services. Prior positions were Technical Specialist,
Product Marketing Manager and Business Development Manager.
Mr. Salo studied in University of Vaasa, MSc in Economics (Industrial Management).

Anton Puolakka
VP, Product Development
Partner
With over 13 years experience in software engineering, Mr. Anton Puolakka brings deep implementation exposure
and technical experience to the team. Previously Anton has been working at Nokia as a team leader in R&D. He also
has extensive skills in Network Management. His involvements in numerous start-up companies, as well as theoretical
studies in the field, have given Anton a good business understanding coupled with hands-on software development skills.
Mr. Puolakka holds an MSc (Computer Science) from University of Helsinki.

Ossi Sariola
Director, International Business Development
Partner
Mr. Ossi Sariola brings extensive international sales and marketing experience to 7signal. Ossi has lived 25 years
abroad, mostly in Brazil and speaks natively Finnish, English and Portuguese and fluently Spanish. Ossi worked
previously with Call Genie, LHS Systems, Nokia and Metorex International. Ossi possesses strong customer relationship
management skills, deep understanding of IT and Telecom business and is capable of operating efficiently in multicultural situations.
Mr. Sariola holds a Bachelor in Business Administration and Computer Sciences from the Helsinki School of Economics.
