Sapphire Eye monitoring stations continuously monitor all WLAN channels for signal beacons and identifying them within the
monitored area (so called passive test). By comparing authorized, known and unknown terminals and access points, the system
can pinpoint new threats to the network. Pre-emptive statistical data can be generated for example to predict radio capacity requirements.
Additionally, Sapphire Eye units run active tests that enable precise measurement of the network from end-to-end. These tests can also be
run while there are no users, such as at night, to enable 24h monitoring, and predicting problem and failure points for corrective measures.
Such problem and failure points can be pinpointed within the WLAN or LAN/WAN.
