Sapphire Eye unit

The innovation in the 7signal solution is a “Sapphire Eye” unit, consisting of 7 directional antennas for the ”air traffic control" of all RF traffic in, out and between the access points (AP). One Sapphire Eye can typically cover 6 – 12 APs, depending on obstacles to RF traffic. Each Sapphire Eye consists of 7 directional antennas. In a novel design, 6 of the directional antennas span the entire 360o field, while one antenna points down to eliminate potential blind spots . Ceiling mounted, the Sapphire Eyes are able to maintain full coverage of any designated WLAN area.
