National Health Service (NHS) Fife, Scotland, Selects 7SIGNAL to Enhance the Wi-Fi User Experience

A module within the 7SIGNAL platform, Sapphire Eye is a state-of-the-art Wi-Fi sensor and software subscription designed to collect and analyze Wi-Fi user experience data – giving engineers actionable root cause information needed to find and fix network issues.  The solution is perfect for hospitals who are experiencing wireless device connectivity problems.

Supported by 7SIGNAL’s exclusive distribution partner in the United Kingdom, OpenReality, NHS Fife is one of the fourteen regions of NHS Scotland. NHS Fife utilized a proof of concept from 7SIGNAL to trial Sapphire Eye on-site before making a purchasing decision.  During the trial phase, wireless engineers used the 7SIGNAL platform to find and fix issues on access points (APs), RADIUS, DNS and DHCP servers.  Sapphire Eye continuously runs active and passive tests on the network looking for problems with network services, WLAN configuration, radio frequency and co-channel interference, coverage and congestion.
