The Onboarding Process

Your success is our success

7SIGNAL's customer onboarding is second to none, providing you with project management, configuration guidance, best practice recommendations, and expert observations from our Wi-Fi specialists. You will be assigned a 7SIGNAL Solutions Engineer who will walk you down the path to success.

Onboarding

  • At the kick-off call we will review the project plan, everybody's tasks and responsibilities, as well as your uses cases and goals.
  • Then the installation and configuration portion begins and our Solutions Engineer will be along side you every step of the way, helping you incorporate best practices.
  • Next, we'll schedule the Wi-Fi Workshop, a comprehensive online class that teaches you and your team the following...
    • The root causes of poorly performing Wi-Fi (Wi-Fi 101)
    • How to troubleshoot Wi-Fi performance issues on your associates’ devices (Windows, Mac, Android, Linux)
    • How to proactively identify poorly performing Wi-Fi and understand all the reasons why its happening
    • Learn techniques and strategies for remediating issues and improving overall Wi-Fi performance
  • All along the way, we'll provide you with our "expert observations" offering you suggestions for improved Wi-Fi performance and tips for remediation.

Platform Training

Mobile Eye

Mobile Eye training helps you identify device adapter/driver combinations with roaming problems.  You'll also learn to troubleshoot Wi-Fi performance issues on your associates’ devices (Windows, Mac, Android, and Linux).

Next, we'll run and examine reports to proactively identify poorly performing devices in locations on Wi-Fi, understand the reasons why, and what you can do about it! Great for network engineers and helpdesk associates alike.

Sapphire Eye

With Sapphire Eye, it's like having a Wi-Fi engineer onsite...without being onsite!  We'll teach you how to quickly identify wired, wireless, or device performance issues in targeted service areas. We'll show you how to use Sapphire Eyes to "keep watch" on your WLAN controller's radio resource management automation. You'll learn how to interpret a waterfall spectral graph to identify interference and more!
